Smoking is injurious to health‘– is a fact that everyone knows. And yet every year lakhs of people across the globe succumb to its temptation. According to the statistics by the World Health Organisation (WHO), tobacco (which is the main component of cigarettes) kills more than 7 million people worldwide each year. Despite the pictorial warnings on the cigarette packets and the awareness being created to educate people of its side effects, which includes cancer, respiratory congestion and heart diseases, this menace has been on a rise.

While on one hand, people are increasingly getting addicted to smoking, on the other hand, there are others who are trying to quit the habit. And those who have been trying hard to quit the habit know how difficult it can be to resist the temptation at times.
