Vidya Malvade is best known in Bollywood for her role in Shahrukh Khan starrer Chak De India. She had been away from the limelight for quite some time, until last year when she made headlines by posting her bikini pictures on Instagram. Almost a decade has passed since the release of the movie and Vidya still looks as stunning as ever. In fact, it turns out that she has been keeping herself busy with practicing and teaching yoga and it looks like Vidya has mastered the art.
How it all started
Yoga is not new to Vidya Malvade. She has been into yoga for almost 10 years now. She can do difficult asanas with ease and also teaches the age-old art. Yoga not only has physical benefits like building core muscles for better flexibility, balance, and posture but it also has mental benefits. Yoga has many health benefits but change does not happen overnight. One needs to practice yoga every day. She swears by yoga and her fit body is a proof of how good yoga really is.
Her fitness regime
Vidya Malvade makes sure that she practices yoga daily for approx 90 minutes. She starts her warm up with Suryanamaskar and lists it as an everyday essential. The actress keeps evolving her yoga regime on a regular basis and likes to keep herself on her toes by setting new flexibility goals. Vidya also performs some stretching exercises like Hanuman Asana and Vashisht Asana, which help her improve flexibility.
