Ankita Lokhande, Hina Khan or Drashti Dhami: Look out for best and worst dressed celeb of the week (July 22- July 28)

Another week comes to an end and we’re back with our weekly roundup of fashion hits and misses. Our small screen celebrities have been giving us major style goals this particular week. And the good news is that they made it really difficult for us to pick out the worst dressed, as they killed it in the fashion department. Here’s our pick for the best and worst dressed celeb for this week.

Best Dressed: Ankita Lokhande is on her way to make her Bollywood debut. Fashionably speaking, she seems to be on the right track. She wore this red outfit to an event in Delhi. This two-piece is not very look-at-me and at the same time very striking. Styled by Hemlata Periwal, she looks absolutely stunning. She is bringing the 80’s back with bell bottoms and flared sleeves. Bonus points for toning it down on the jewellery and going heavy on eye makeup.

Best Dressed: Actress Sana Khan wore this simple cotton dress by Tanveer Rim & Saniya. She kept her look very neutral, making it a perfect for the summers. She added an ethnic look by wearing Alex brown juttis and the basic Loius Vuitton bag.  Easy breezy and fresh, we give this look a thumbs up.

Best Dressed: We are really impressed by Krystle D’ Souza’s airport look. She chose to keep it casual yet smart with a basic black tee, denim, and jacket with stud detailing. She completed her travel look with a high-heel sneakers and a high pony. We’d like to change nothing about this look.

Worst Dressed: Kishwer Merchant went an extra mile to dress comfortably for the summer. We know it’s hot outside and dressing up in comfortable clothes sounds like the way to go. But this dress is too loose and ill-fitted to be worn by Kishwer. The length of the dress is unflattering and the puffed up sleeves make it look even baggier. Maybe we could do with a little more structure and shape.

Worst Dressed: We agree Drashti Dhami’s dress is not the most horrific one we’ve ever seen but the overall look comes off a little disappointing. There’s just too much going on with jewellery and she could have ditched one or two pieces unless she intended to feature in a jewellery advertisement. As for her dress, we kind of approve of the little patchwork. This look could have worked better if she would have paired it with the right accessories.

Best Dressed: Hina Khan’s look for the promotions of Katron ke Khiladi caught us a little off-guard and we mean it in a good way. Needless to say, this look is quite similar to the one we’ve seen on Ankita Lokhande because they have been styled by the same person, Hemlata Periwal. A throwback touch once again with bell sleeves and bell bottoms. She wore multiple chokers and red lipstick to give that badass vibe to it. Nevertheless, she looks gorgeous.
