Vasundhara Raje condemns Stockholm attack but SILENT on violence by Gau Rakshaks or attack on Bhansali

While Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje was quick enough to condemn Stockholm terror attack, she has not said a word on attacks by Gau Rakshaks

A 50-year-old Muslim man, Pehlu Khan, was killed after being mercilessly thrashed by a group of cow vigilantes in the Alwar city of Rajasthan. The issue created a massive uproar in Parliament where the members of the Congress party cornered the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the issue of the lynching of the Muslim man.

While senior BJP leader and MoS for Parliamentary Affairs, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi shocked everyone by claiming that no such attack took place, a voice that has been unheard since the attack took place is of Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. It is extremely alarming that the Chief Minister of Rajasthan has had nothing to say about the incident which claimed life of one and injured four other in her state amid the emerging chaos over the cow slaughter issue.

Surprisingly, the CM who silently gave commenting on the incident a miss was among the first few to have condemned the Stockholm terror attack where 4 people were killed. Her tweet came minutes after the attack but there has been no word from her even 6 days after the Alwar incident.

Does the brutal attack in your state not deserve any condemnation from you Mrs. Raje?

It was earlier reported that the attackers who were allegedly members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal thrashed Khan and four others even after the victims tried to tell them that they had come to Rajasthan to buy milch cows. Is the matter too petty for the Rajasthan CM to give her valuable opinion?

Not only Stockholm, she was quick enough to condemn the St. Petersburg terror attack which claimed 8 lives too. But no, nothing on Alwar so far.

This is not the first time that Vasundhara Raje has been tight-lipped over sensitive issues. Raje took no action or even voiced a concern when the members of Rajput Karni Sena thrashed and manhandled reputed filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali on the sets of Padmavati.

Bhansali who’s security was compromised had no other option but to strike a common ground with the Karni Sena chief who had affirmed that they would not let the film be released until approved by the Rajput leaders. Bhansali failed to receive any support from the state government despite strong condemnation from the members of the film fraternity.

Does Vasundhara Raje want her state to be known as a state that cannot promise security and is run by the thugs who intimidate people because they believe that the authorities are too meek and mild to intervene? Well, for now, that is the impression one gets.
