UP Farmer Ends Family's Misery, Sells Off Goats To Build Toilet

Jabbar Shah sold his goats to build a toilet in his home and saved the female members of his family from the embarrassment of defecating in the open.

A farmer in UP’s Sitapur went the extra mile to ensure that his family wouldn’t have to defecate in the open.

Jabbar Shah sold his goats to build a toilet in his home and saved the female members of his family from the embarrassment of defecating in the open.

Speaking to ANI, Shah said, “Female members of our family were facing a lot of problems in jungle. This was problematic. So I sold off the goats and built the toilet.”

He sold seven of his goats at a price of 15,000 and used the money to build the toilet.

It’s a commendable feat given that selling goat milk was a primary source of earning his livelihood apart from being a labourer.

Shah’s work has caught the attention of district administration.”Building a toilet by selling goats for the safety of female members of his family. This is a matter of immense pride for us. The man will be reimbursed money spent on construction of toilet” Tulsi Ram, DPRO Sitapur, told the news agency.
