Two air-hostesses molested on Mumbai-bound Jet Airways flight, accused held

The accused, who was in an inebriated state, was handed over to CISF

A hardware trader has been booked for molesting two air hostesses on a Mumbai -bound Jet Airways flight from Nagpur on February 27. The air hostesses submitted a written complaint to the flight captain against the 23-year-old accused who was travelling on seat no. 41E.

The accused Akash Gupta , who was in an inebriated state, was handed over to CISF after landing and has been charged under section 354 for outraging the modesty of woman, reports Times of India.

The accused boarded the flight at Nagpur where had come after a vacation in Goa. He allegedly grabbed the hand of the two air hostesses when they were serving him meal. The incident prompted the air-hostesses to seek help from crew. The accused also started arguing with them.
