Scary visuals of a sandstorm hitting some part of Rajasthan during the day is going viral on social media. Although the video is unverified, people are clearly heard asking each other to run for safety.
The video shows the area being slowly enveloped in darkness. More than 100 people have died in high-intensity dust storms that have hit areas of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan last week.
With around 50 deaths and many more cases of injuries, Agra in Uttar Pradesh is the worst-affected. The meteorological department has issued a storm warning and cautioned locals about thunderstorms and heavy rain that may follow, for the next two days.
