Ketan Jorawadia rescued several kids caught in a massive fire at a coaching centre in Surat. A video of him rescueing two girls has since then gone viral.
An incident that has claimed at least 20 lives. Ketan risked his life and stood on the building’s ledge on the third floor and rescued two girls stuck inside the smoking top floor
Talking to ANI, Ketan said, “Smoke was coming out from the building. When I saw it, I thought about what could be done. I took a ladder and rescued the children who were about 13-16 years old. I climbed up the pipe to reach third floor, then climbed down to help them. A girl slipped and she was grievously hurt. It was terrible. But I managed to rescue two other girls.”
Many on social media lauded Ketan for his courage and selflessness.
