'Suhel Seth Shoved His Tongue Down My Mouth, I Bit Him': Diandra Soares' #MeToo Story

Diandra took to Facebook to reveal that she was at a fashion week after-party a few years ago in Delhi when Seth forcefully kiss her at a party.

Women in India are finally speaking up about their experiences of sexual harassment by powerful men. Celebrity consultant and author Suhel Seth is among the public figures who is facing #Metoo allegation. He has so far been called out by three women, filmmaker and entrepreneur Natashja Rathore, journalist Mandakini Gahlot, and writer Ishita Yadav. Adding her own voice to this, model and ex-Big Boss contestant Diandra Soares has accused Suhel Seth of forcefully kissing her at a party in Delhi.

Diandra took to Facebook to reveal that she was at a fashion week after-party a few years ago in Delhi when Seth forcefully kiss her at a party. Though the act totally flustered her for a moment, she immediately defended her self by biting his tongue and grabbing his balls.

“I was dancing on a couch and out of nowhere Suhel Seth shoved his f**king tongue down my mouth. I immediately bit his tongue with all my might and anger. Oh, I also grabbed his b*lls and squeezed them hard, refusing to let go,” she said.

“He looks at me like a lil child, like a boy bewildered and with feelings all hurt & says “You bit me really hard !!!”(In baby voice no less) While he was holding his tongue still looking absolutely innocent & hurt at MY behaviour,” she added.

Hitting at the hypocrisy of the society, she further said after the fracas people took her away to calm ‘her’ down but nobody dared to throw him out: “… The WOMAN supposed to just let it go & NOT CREATE A SCENE COZ ITS NOT GOOD FOR OUR REPUTATION AND WE ARE SHAMED AND WE HAVE TO LEAVE IT AND MOVE AWAY.”

She added that the Facebook post isn’t closure for her and that she does not need any healing. “The reason I finally decided to speak out is because when I read the #metoo stories my heart bleeds for what we women go through. And because nobody has called out this behaviour at various events & parties & even public events on stage… because of the SILENCE these predators have had more & more power & courage to continue this appalling, vile, animalistic behaviour. I speak up in solidarity to my fellow women who have so bravely come out and spoken about Suhel Seth,” she added.
