TMC MP Nusrat Jahan is getting slammed just because she donned the attire of her choice. Nusrat, a Muslim was allegedly criticised by some male Muslim clerics for sporting a sindhoor & wearing a saree during the oath-taking ceremony in Lok Sabha. Nusrat later had to give back to her detractors with a powerful tweet on ‘inclusive India’. But the incident puts a spotlight on the times when women politicians in India where trolled for their choice of clothing.
