Former Bihar DGP Abhayanand’s brainchild ‘Magadh Super 30’ has helped several bright, underprivileged students from Maoist-hit regions to advance into top engineering colleges.
‘Magadh Super 30’ screens bright students from underprivileged backgrounds through an entrance test and an interview with Abhayanand. Ever since it was founded in 2008, the programme has helped advance 29 students into IITs, 40 students into NITs and six others to the Maritime University Chennai.
