In yet another instance of hooliganism by members of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), a man in Pune was forced to do 50 sit-ups for allegedly criticising party chief Raj Thackeray on social media. The video of the incident has gone viral in which the victim, Pravin Burade, is seen apologising to MNS workers. They even boasted that Burade was ‘spared’ from the real punishment because he was a Marathi and belonged to a poor family. No case was registered by the police in this regard.
Last year in February, MNS leader Nitin Nandgokar did the same outside Mumbai airport when he intimated a cab driver to do sit-ups as he wasn’t wearing proper uniform.
