Photographic images are a powerful medium to pose questions and postulate ideas. From its early days, photographers have exhibited their work and attracted like-minded enthusiasts to discuss and appreciate it. With an abundance of dedicated collegiate photography festivals vying for your attention each year, just how do you decide which ones to visit, and which ones are worth submitting to? Well, one that is worth your attention is Curiosity’17.
Delhi’s most grand collegiate photography society, Pinhole: SGTB Khalsa College is back with its version of Noorderlicht, Curiosity’17 on February 21-22. The mega event showcases an array of ideas through a national open call, portfolio reviews and other participation programs. The festival also includes a fine-print auction and large-scale portfolio review workshop, this year to be hosted by Canon India, to add value for participants, and to continue to contribute to this medium of art.
