Last week, a unique wedding ceremony took place in the snow-hit Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand. The groom and his relatives had to walk 6 km in the snow because road traffic was disrupted due to heavy snowfall. Despite all the obstacles, the wedding took place without any problem. Even the district administration lauded the move.
Meanwhile, Rudraprayag has been witnessing heavy snowfall since the last few days. All the reconstruction work at Kedarpuri has been stopped with immediate effect.
