Jo teri khaatir pehle se hi tadpa, use kya tadpana oh Zaalima!, are words which will stay in your hearts and minds for a really long time. Zaalima the much awaited song from an equally awaited movie Raees was released today, as promised by Miyanbhai Shah Rukh Khan. The song comes to a close competition to other love ballads starring Shah Rukh and Kajol like Sooraj Hua Madham (Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham) and Gerua (Dilwale). But for this song, Kajol was replaced by Pakistani actress Mahira Khan and a look at the song asserts that she is amazing.
The opening shots of the song show Mahira and Shah Rukh romancing each other in a desert in black outfits looking absolutely brilliant. The following shots show the lead couple at various locations. Though the places where they express their love changed, the passion between them didn’t.
Everything about this song is impeccable, the poetic lyrics, the soothing music, the chemistry between Mahira and King Khan, and the locales where it was shot. Sung by Arijit Singh and Harshdeep Kaur and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, Zaalima would surely become the most loved romantic of this season.

Before the song released, there were many questions floating if it would strike a chord with viewers just like the scintillating number Laila starring Sunny Leone. And now that the song has been unveiled, it can be undoubtedly said that Zaalima will become a similar hit to Laila.

Raees, directed by Rahul Dholakia is the story of a bootlegger who locks horns with the administration. In the movie, Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the role of a police officer. The trailer of the movie opened to rave reviews and expectations are high from the movie as well. It will release on 25 January.
