It seems that Vikram Bhatt is hell bent to explore the new platform of entertainment- the web, like no other filmmaker. After the erotic series Maya, Vikram Bhatt is offering the first horror web series titled Gehraiyaan. The series marks the reunion of actors Sanjeeda Sheikh and Vatsal Seth. The actors were last seen in the TV show, Ek Hasina Thi. The clip is gripping and will definitely send a chill down your spine.
The trailer reveals that Sanjeeda’s character is a surgeon who returns to a reputed hospital in Mumbai after a short career break. 260year-old Reyna Malik (Sanjeeda) is quite excited to return to her job. Reyna had gone on a break when she and her boyfriend Shekhar, notice some mysterious and dark occurrences in their house. All these incidents, push Reyna to a trauma. After recovering, she joins her job and the hospital staff suggest her to focus on her career.
But, Reyna’s happiness is cut short when the mishappenings don’t stop. In a bid to move on, Reyna stays in a flat all by herself but notices few things like – the cupboard unlocks by itself, things start moving, her furniture assumes a life of its own. When a frightened Reyna talks to Shekhar about it, he blames it on her state of mind and calls it a temporary disturbance.

However, Reyna finds support in her neighbour. The young dashing boy understands Reyna’s problem and comes to her rescue. The neighbour played by Vatsal Seth, becomes Reyna’s central support system and saves her on nights when no one is around.

But, the question that the trailer asks- Is all of this just Reyna’s imagination? Well, we will have to wait for the series to understand more about this. Gehraiyaan is directed by Sidhant Sachdev and the trailer has definitely got us excited.
