After entertaining viewers with web series like Karle Tu Bhi Mohabbat, Boygiri – Men will be Men, The Test Case and Dev DD, Ekta Kapoor is back with her yet another web series Bose: Dead/Alive. She has finally released the intriguing first look of the series which features Rajkummar Rao as Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The series has been directed by Hansal Mehta. Ekta Kapoor shocked the world when she announced that she would be collaborating with Hansal Mehta on a new web series based on the life of freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose.
Sharing the first look along with a video on her Instagram, she wrote: “Ok here it is! The first look of Rajkummar Rao aS…The man… the mystery …the legend! Bose Dead/Alive. The trailer will be out on 18th August (our most researched show on the conspiracy theories surrounding the death of this revolutionary legend).”
In the 30 second video, Ekta Kapoor introduced Rajkummar Rao as Bose. The actor has been prepping for his role and, in fact, even had his head shaved in order to attain the authentic look. Rajkummar has also gained weight and going by the teaser, it’s interesting to see him replicate the nuances of the historical character.

The trailer of the upcoming web series is all set to release on August 18. Rajkummar Rao has earlier collaborated with Hansal Mehta in Shahid, Aligarh and CityLights and will also feature in the upcoming film Omerta.
