Not just Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and Hum Paanch, this hit comedy show is also making a comeback

Khichdi, the hit show that made people laugh, might be making a comeback. The show featured Supriya Pathak in a pivotal role

The good old days of the 2000s are coming back it seems. After Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, another hit comedy show might be making a comeback. Khichdi, the show that chronicled the life of the crazy family, might return as web series. This little piece of information about the speculative comeback was given by producer JD Majethia at the press conference of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.

At the press conference when Majethia was asked about a comeback, he said, “Yes, there is something going on at the back end bit, I won’t divulge any more details now. We will let you know soon.”

This will obviously bring a smile on fans of the show. The tale of the crazy family comprising Hansa, Praful, Kukkad Kumar, Babuji Jayshree, was loved by viewers. One of the biggest highlights of the show was how Praful explained tough words to Hansa, and the meaning was entirely different than the real meaning.

We are now waiting desperately for the show to return.

Talking about the return of SVS, Majethia said, “We were missing the show, but it eventually became so big after it went off air but before creating it again, we wanted to be sure that we could recreate Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai magic again.”

The evening was very entertaining for everyone as all the actors played their character on stage to create a live magic and madness of the Sarabhai family.

Speaking about the popularity of SVS and it’s character, the writer and director of the show said, “All Sarabhai characters are close to reality. Some of them are my relatives, some from neighbour. Of course in my writing, I have exaggerated them, turned them into a mad character but I think people can relate to them because they are real.”

Well, it indeed is the comeback of good ol’ days!
