A deleted song from Raees titled Halka Halka was released and Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan's chemistry in it will leave your jaws dropped

It has been more than ten days since Raees released and the film is still attracting cine buffs to the theatres. Shah Rukh Khan’s memorable performance as a bootlegger Raees Alam and a powerful portrayal of honest ACP Majmudar by Nawaazuddin Siddiqui took the film to new heights. It was due to this that Raees, helmed by Rahul Dholakia earned over Rs 250 crore across the globe.

Apart from Nawazuddin and SRK, viewers were left in awe of Mahira Khan as well. In the role of SRK’s wife, Mahira made an impressive debut in Bollywood. Her chemistry with Shah Rukh grabbed the attention of viewers and critics alike.

But if you thought that there could be more of SRK and Mahira’s love story in the film, we have a good news for you. Shah Rukh released a deleted song from the film titled Halka Halka from the film. Crooned by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal, you will definitely play the song on repeat.

Notably, the duo of Sonu and Shreya have serenaded music lovers with their hit songs time and again. These include Shukran Allah, Zoobie Doobie, Main Agar Kahoon, Pal Pal Pal, Piyu Bole, Dil Dooba, and ‘Main Hoon Na. Interestingly, the combination of Sonu and Shah Rukh has also yielded hit romantic songs like Suraj Hua Madham, Tumhe Dekho Naa, and Do Pal.

There were many reports in the media that makers truncated this song to lessen the screen time of Mahira, keeping in mind the sour relationships between India and Pakistan. But the makers refuted these theories and asserted that deleting the song was a creative decision.
