Watch: Salman Khan lends his voice for animated movie Hanuman Da Damdaar

After Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman Khan has associated himself with Lord Hanuman once again

Salman Khan made worshipping Lord Hanuman a statement when he appeared in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. As an ardent worshipper of the Lord, Salman Khan won hearts with his performance. But if you thought that Salman’s association with the Lord was restricted to just the movie, you are mistaken. Salman just released the motion poster of animated movie called Hanuman Da Damdaar. The motion poster was released today on the eve of Hanuman Jayanti.

Reports have it that Salman has lent his voice of the lead character. Apart from him, the movie includes Javed Akhtar, Saurabh Shukla, Vinay Pathak, Raveena Tandon, Kunal Kemmu and Makarand Deshpande.

The movie is directed by Ruchi Narain, who is a renowned face. She has won several awards for her works including Filmfare award for penning down Hazaaron Khwahishein Aisi. Ruchi also made KAL (Yesterday & Tomorrow) which won the Osian’s Cinefan Critic’s Choice Award.

Ruchi is also reported to be working on a movie of Dharma Productions and would be starting work on a television series for Life Ok. The series is being said to be one that is inspired by a famous American series.

Salman coming on board for Hanuman Da Damdaar makes the movie quite interesting. Taking to Twitter, the superstar wrote, “Yeh Summer hoga bada Damdaar, Dekho motion poster of  #HanumanDaDamdaar Aaj HanumanJayanti ke din. @hanuman_damdaar .”

On the work front, Salman Khan is busy shooting for his movie Tiger Zinda Hai. A few days ago the team finished shooting in a historic and quaint Golden Roof for a song with Salman and Katrina Kaif, the leading lady of the movie. The portion shot at Golden Roof with the duo is expected to be a big visual attraction in the film, and the song shot matches up to the YRF reputation of unforgettable visual treats onscreen. The song is choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant, read a statement from the production banner.
