Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt promoted their upcoming film ‘Dear Zindagi‘ on Karan Johar’s popular talk show “Koffee with Karan season 5”.
So here’s presenting some special moments from the premiere episode that you just can’t ignore!

-SRK-Karan’s bond: The last season sans Shah Rukh Khan had raised innumerable eyebrows pointing towards an alleged spat between him and Karan. KJo got to the point straight away and asked SRK why he didn’t appear on his show last season to which the ever-so-witty King Khan humorously replied, “I wanted the TRPs to drop a little. I took it so high the first time.”
The ‘Fan’ star, adding to this, very diplomatically said, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘ director has to justify his love for the star like the latter has to justify his nationalism! And then the topic stirred to the much-controversial and most talked-about area: their link up! Candidly, of course, SRK asked Karan to finally release the pictures of them kissing!

When Karan asked SRK if he knows who Alia is dating, Shah Rukh said, “I will be disappointed if there are 3 or 4. When there’s a candid conversation with SRK, questions on the other Khan of Bollywood, Salman, is somewhat mandatory. Karan asked what would Shah Rukh Khan’s biopic be named and the actor said it should be called ‘Kal Ho Na Ho‘. And what about Salman Khan? “Kal ho na ho, meri phir bhi chalegi” making everyone laugh out loud!

From calling himself ‘The Fourth Idiot’ for declining ‘3 Idiots’ to asking Ranveer where he got his padded underwear for ‘Befikre’ from and pulling Alia’s leg for ‘not’ reading the newspaper, the ‘Don 2‘ star continued to combat Karan’s tricky questions effortlessly. As a result, he took the very alluring gift hamper back home. All in all, it is not wrong to say that something new is definitely brewing on the fifth season of ‘Koffee with Karan‘ and we are super excited for the upcoming episodes. Aren’t you too?!
