Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor’s upcoming film Half Girlfriend is one of the most-anticipated films of this year. Not only because it is the on-screen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name but also for Shraddha-Arjun’s on-screen pairing.
The trailer of the film has already garnered positive feedback not only from the audience but the film fraternity as well. While Arjun Kapoor’s Bihari accent was criticized and made fun of, Shraddha Kapoor’s super amazing avatar of a typical Delhi girl was praised by all.
But one thing that won everybody’s heart is the song ‘Main Phir Bhi Tumko‘, which made people crazy. With merely two lines in the trailer, the song immediately went viral on the internet and there is no stopping since then. The track has registered over 4 million views through unofficial version and remixes, even before the song’s official release.
And now when the song is finally here, we wonder how people are going to control their excitement. Written by Manoj Muntashir and sung by the one and only Arijit Singh, the song will make you fall in love with it instantly. You will be surprised to know that Main Phir Bhi Tumko was a nazm which Manoj wrote in 2001 when he was on a Kashmir tour.

Helmed by Mohit Suri, Half Girlfriend is a story of a small-town boy Madhav Jha, who fall in love with a high-class Delhi girl Riya Somani and she agrees to be his half girlfriend. The film is all set to hit the screens on May 19 this year.
