Vinod Khanna's funeral: Rishi Kapoor is very angry with Bollywood's young actors. Here's why

A string of celebrities like Rajinikanth, Asha Bhosle, Rishi Kapoor have paid tributes to veteran actor Vinod Khanna, who died on Thursday.

Rishi Kapoor, who is known for his outspoken nature has done it yet again. This time the veteran actor targeted the young generation actors for not attending the last rites of Vinod Khanna. A string of celebrities like Rajinikanth, Asha Bhosle, Rishi Kapoor, Anupam Kher and Shatrughan Sinha have paid tributes to veteran movie actor-politician Vinod Khanna, who died on Thursday due to prolonged illness. But on a surprising note, Rishi in his tweet revealed that not one actor from the current generation of Bollywood attended Khanna’s funeral.

He took to his twitter to shared his views on the same and wrote: Shameful. Not ONE actor of this generation attended Vinod Khanna’s funeral. And that too he has worked with them. Must learn to respect.

In a series of tweets, he further went to an extent and even criticized the size of the crowd at a party thrown by Priyanka Chopra, but very few people attended the Vinod Khanna’s funeral. He tweeted: Angry. Met so many chamcha people last night at Priyanka Chopra’s do last night. Few at Vinod’s. So fuckn transparent. So angry with them. Check out his other tweets as well here: 

“Yes it has been expressed earlier on social media my wife and Ranbir is out of the country. Would never had been a reason not to be there”.

He further added that he is expected the same from the young generation actors when he dies.

“Why this? Including mine and thereafter.When I die, I must be prepared.None will shoulder me. Very very angry with today’s so called stars”.

He was hospitalized since over a month. Vinod Khanna 70 is survived by his wife, three sons and a daughter.

Khanna was admitted to Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in the first week on April after reportedly suffering from severe dehydration.
