Toilet: Ek Prem Katha Box Office Prediction: Akshay Kumar's film to save Bollywood from the dearth of good hits?

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha Box Office Prediction: Will this Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar film be able to remove the dearth of good Bollywood hits this year?

After the failure of Jab Harry Met Sejal, Bollywood is looking forward to the release of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and the expectations are high for it to emerge as the first major hit for the industry since the release of Hindi Medium in May. The Akshay Kumar film, that deals with the issue of sanitation in India, is carrying a decent buzz and is expected to embark on a good start at the Box Office.

The theatrical trailer of the film was released back in June and has met with a significantly positive response. However, the makers have not increased the film’s presence as the music of the film failed to strike a chord with the audience. The promotional campaign too was not as effective as it was hoped to turn out since the makers tried to meet government officials in an attempt to get the film tax free and in turn failed to reach out to the audience at large.

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is a considerably safe bet for a film as far as the budget is concerned as it’s made on a meagre budget of Rs 18 Crore. The film seeks to reap the benefit of upcoming holidays of Janmashtami (Monday) and Independence Day (Tuesday) upon its release, which is expected to add to its run at the Box Office in India.
