After revealing the new poster of Allu Arjun from his upcoming film Duvvada Jagannadham, the makers have now announced the release date of the film. Written-directed by Hari Shankar of Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam and Subramanyam For Sale fame and produced by Dil Raju, DJ is Allu Arjun’s first release of 2017.
On Saturday, the makers had released the new poster as a birthday treat for the fans of Telugu superstar. The poster featured the Arya actor in a Brahmin look. There are also reports that Allu Arjun will be playing an undercover police in DJ.
And now, DJ gets a release date as the Allu Arjun-starrer is confirmed for July 7 release.
DJ stars Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro fame as the female lead and also marks her third Telugu release after Oka Laila Kosam and Mukunda. The film also marks the third outing of Allu Arjun and producer Dil Raju. The actor-producer duo had previously collaborated for Parugu and Arya and both films turned out to be blockbusters at the box office.
Meanwhile, the Kerala fans of Allu Arjun has re-released their actor’s 2009 blockbuster Arya 2 in Kerala on April 8, during the occasion of Allu Ajrun’s birthday. The fan club named ‘All Kerala Allu Arjun Fans & Welfare Association’ re-released Arya 2 at Minerva Cinemas, Kottarakara.
