Soon after the completion of the 18th edition of International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), on Sunday, July, 16 actor Sushant Singh Rajput left everyone confused with his cryptic tweet. The actor once again took to his social media platform and posted another message. Sharing his views along with his picture with a kid, the Raabta actor wrote: ” If you remember me, then I don’t care if everyone else forgets”. But what seems from his post is he wanted to tell that until the time he IS getting the love and support from his fans and followers, he doesn’t care about anything else.
The gala night that took place at Metlife Stadium in New York was a starry affair and also saw rocking performances by Bollywood actors including Varun Dhawan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon. While the award night brought happiness on Shahid Kapoor’s face, who bagged the best actor award for Udta Punjab, actor Sushant Singh Rajput seems disappointed for not getting awarded for his film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.

By tagging the official page of IIFA on Twitter, Sushant wrote: ‘hahahaha’. In no time, his fans jumped into conclusion and reacted on the same by saying that he got upset for not receiving the best actor award. However, a leading daily quotes a source as saying: “Sushant’s tweet had nothing to do with the awards. It was simply an expression of having a successful graduation from a background dancer, to now being an actor performing at the very same award function. In fact, the tweet was posted right after Sushant’s performance and had no relevance to the award ceremony. As opposed to the speculation, not getting an award doesn’t effect Sushant as he is very secure as an actor.”

On the work front, Sushant was last seen in Dinesh Vijan’s directorial Raabta, which also featured his rumoured girlfriend and actress Kriti Sanon.
