Shahrukh Khan has been vindicated in the ‘2012 Wankhede brawl case’. The Mumbai police have informed a metropolitan magistrate’s court that no ‘cognisable offence’ was made out against SRK.

A police report filed in the court recently said, “After the investigation, it was found that no cognisable offence had taken place.”
Earlier, a local activist Amit Maru filed a private complaint in ‘Maharashtra Commission for Protection of Child Rights’ (MPCR) seeking action against the actor for abusing a security guard in one of the IPL matches. The petition stated that Shahrukh used foul language in front of the children.
However, the Mumbai Police did not find any proof. The actor denied the allegations and gave his version of the incident to the police. He told the police officials that his children and their friends were asked to leave by the security guard Vikas Dalvi. Shahrukh Khan added that he got angry when someone spoke to him in indecent language. Following the incident, the Mumbai Cricket Association had imposed a five-year ban on Shah Rukh which was lifted last year.
