Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez's A Gentlemen leaked online. Details inside

A Gentlemen is performing fine at the Box Office but Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer has become the latest victim of piracy

Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez’s recent release, A Gentleman, has already not been doing well at the Box Office. And now, it has faced another major set back as the film became the latest victim of piracy. The film got leaked on illegal websites soon after its release. The film was already affected by the Ganpati Celebration in Mumbai whereas the tense situation in North India too had a significant impact on the numbers.

According to the reports published by a leading daily, the download links of A Gentlemen are being shared on social media sites. The quality of the movies is poor, but HD options are being offered as well.

Earlier, Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha was leaked online before its official release. However, the cyber cell handled the matter well and the pirated links were taken down after the immediate actions. Movies like Sultan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Manjhi, Udta Punjab and Paa have been the victim of piracy.

A Gentleman revolves around the mistaken identity of Sidharth’s ‘sundar, susheel’ character Gaurav and risk taking character Rishi. Helmed by Krishna D.K. and Raj Nidimoru, the film had an opening collection of Rs 4 crore at the domestic box office.

Even after the continuous effort by online paroles and cyber security, the films make their way to the internet and we feel that there is still a long way to go in order to completely curb piracy.
