In what is definitely a shocking piece of information, a European News Network carried a news that Shah Rukh Khan is dead. The network that goes by the name of El Pais TV, reported that the 51-year-old superstar died in a plane crash. The report added that turbulent weather caused the crash killing the star. As soon as the news spread and came in the notice of Joint Commissioner of Mumbai Police, Deven Bharti, he confirmed the news from the management of Shah Rukh Khan. They refuted the rumours immediately and said the star is filming in Mumbai.
The news agency’s story reportedly read, “Tributes have poured in for Indian film actor, producer and television presenter Shah Rukh Khan after he was killed along with seven others when a private jet he was travelling in crashed. It is believed to have been caused by turbulent weather. He was travelling in a Gulfstream G550 jet with his personal assistant and others to Paris for a meeting. The death of Shah Rukh Khan has stunned the Indian diaspora worldwide.”
Speaking about the death hoax, a source told a daily that this is not the first time that a news of this kind about the superstar has gone viral. But this time the intensity was huge since the news was widely circulated on Whatsapp and reached the phones of officials in Mumbai police.
Well, the news agency should have been really careful of what they were writing about the star.
As of now, Shah Rukh Khan is shooting for Aanand L. Rai’s movie in which he plays the role of a dwarf. Shah Rukh Khan will share screen space with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in this one. This marks the second on-screen outing of Shah Rukh, Katrina and Anushka after their 2012 movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
