Salman Khan walks out of an interview when asked about Being Human's 'real' agenda

Salman Khan got angry during an interview when he was asked if the real agenda behind Being Human was to rehabilitate his image

Salman Khan losing his cool during interviews is not an oblivious fact to anyone. As much as Salman is popular for his movies, so is he for the way he conducts himself in public. Recently, the star, who is waiting for the release of his upcoming movie Tubelight, walked out of an interview after the journalist asked him questions about Being Human and the work the organisation does. It seemed Salman Khan was in no mood to take questions on the credibility of the organisation and asked the journalist to step into his shoes for one day.

During the aforementioned interview, the journalist asked Salman about the motive behind Being Human. The interviewer hinted that maybe the whole point of Being Human is to rehabilitate Salman’s image. He also asked if Salman deliberately took up such good characters to frame a certain perspective.

Salman Khan did not like the way Being Human came under the scanner of this interview. He was quick to say, “Do you have any idea of the amount of work we do at Being Human? We do s***loads of work on a daily basis. I haven’t even put my name there, man. It’s Being Human. I am not even on the Board or any of the trustees. The idea is that years from now, people should forget who even started the foundation. You have no idea, man. Do one thing: Come and live my life for one day.”

And then walked out of the interview.

During the same conversation, Salman Khan was asked why he was drawn to characters like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. To this, he said it was usually the niceness but with Tubelight his agenda was to bridge the gap between siblings. He hoped after Tubelight, people are emotionally overcome and call up their siblings for a party.

Slated for a release on 23 June, Tubelight features Sohail Khan, Matin Rey Tangu and Zhu Zhu in pivotal roles.
