The teaser of Salman Khan's Tubelight was released yesterday but did you know this Kabir Khan movie is inspired by a Hollywood movie?

Salman Khan’s Tubelight teaser released yesterday and created quite the sensation. The teaser hinted that Salman would be seen in a completely new avatar. His jolly and chirpy mood in the teaser has made everyone excited for the film. But did you know that Salman’s much talked about movie is actually inspired by a Hollywood movie Little Boy?

In this 2015 Hollywood movie, an eight-year-old kid who was really close to his father embarked on a journey to find the latter. His father had gone to the World War 2 and given the fact that the little was close to him, he wanted to bring him back. During this journey, the only thing that was on the little boy’s side was faith.

If you watch the trailer of Little Boy and the teaser of Tubelight, you will understand that there are uncanny resemblances between the two. In the trailer of Little Boy, the young child wishes to move a mountain and we could find a similar scene in Tubelight. In fact, even the bus scene in Tubelight seems inspired by this Hollywood movie.

However, Little Boy did not fare well at the Box Office. The movie did not strike a chord with critics and was deemed a flop. But, with Tubelight would definitely not meet the same fate. The presence of Salman Khan in the movie confirms it will be a hit. In addition to this, the duo of Salman Khan and Kabir Khan has never delivered a flop. The movie stars Sohail Khan, Chinese actress Zhu Zhu and child artist Martin Raytangu in pivotal roles. The movie will release on 25 June and is expected to create new records at the Box Office.
