Despite having parted ways years ago, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are cordial with each other. Now, the latest buzz is that the Tamasha couple partied together at filmmaker Karan Johar’s bash to celebrate the success of his latest film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. However, Deepika’s rumoured beau Ranveer Singh was not present in the party.
Besides the duo, the bash had KJo’s close friends Shah Rukh Khan, Ayan Mukerji , Aditya Roy Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Parineeti Chopra and others. Aamir Khan’s wife Kiran Rao too made her presence felt at the party. Donning a yellow outfit, Deepika looked stunning as she shyly avoided the shutterbugs while leaving the venue. On the other hand, Ranbir was accompanied by his Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani co-star Aditya Roy Kapoor.

The 30-year-old actor has been super busy in her film projects these days, prominent being xXx: Return of Xander Cage. The film marks her Hollywood debut opposite Vin Diesel. She will also be starring alongside Ranveer and Shahid Kapoor in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. Besides this, she is also reportedly starring in an undisclosed project helmed by Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi.

Ranbir on the other hand, looked quite relaxed after his film fared reasonably well after a long time. The actor had been going through a lean patch at the box office.

Also starring Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has received mixed reviews from critics and fans alike. The film recently entered the Rs 100 crore club.
