Baahubali: The Conclusion, has emerged as the biggest blockbuster of Indian cinema and earned over Rs 1000 crore worldwide. Speaking about the risk that engulfed Baahubali: The Conclusion, Rana Daggubati told a leading daily, “For Baahubali, we decided not to worry about the risks taken for the film. If we did, we wouldn’t have been able to make the film. The expenses incurred on this film were three times more than what was spent on the previous movie of the franchise, and we were making it in Hyderabad, which is not even the entertainment capital of the nation.”

Baahubali: The Conclusion, was made on a budget of Rs 250 crore and earned a stupendous amount of money. For the sequel, the makers put a lot at risk. As anticipated as the movie was, it was also true that SS Rajamouli put a lot at risk. Even a minor mistake in the movie would have ruined the careers of all involved in the movie. This risk was something that everyone associated with film fraternity knew of.

In fact, trade analyst Komal Nahta told in an interview that putting so much money in a movie proved the love for the cinema of makers. He added that if the movie had failed it would have spelt doom for the next generations of the makers. But luckily that did not happen and the movie became immensely successful. SS Rajamouli’s imagination struck a chord with everyone and the movie is still running to packed theatres.
