Prabhas is bigger than any Khan, says Baahubali cinematographer

The DOP of Baahubali: The Conclusion also said that James Cameron is S S Rajamouli of Hollywood

The much-awaited film of 2017, SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion is exactly one month away for its theatrical release. The film, a sequel to the 2015 blockbuster Baahubali: The Beginning stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles. Baahubali 2 also stars an ensemble supporting cast including Sathyaraj, Nassar, Rohini and Kicha Sudeep in supporting roles.

The audio-launch of Baahubali 2 was recently held at Ramoji Rao City, Hyderabad. The star-studded event was attended by the entire film cast along with cinematographer K K Senthil Kumar, music composer M M Keeravani and Karan Johar, who is distributing the Hindi dubbed version of Baahubali 2.

Speaking at the event, K K Senthil Kumar stated that Prabhas is the biggest superstar of India. He also added that Prabhas’ stardom is bigger than Bollywood superstars Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.

Senthil was quoted as saying: “Prabhas is today the biggest star of India. He is bigger than any Khan or anyone. His film today will probably be the first film to cross Rs 1,000 crore and I am so proud to be associated with him. Such a humble man he is.”

Senthil had also showered praises on his director Rajamouli as well. “S S Rajamouli is not James Cameron of Tollywood but James Cameron is S S Rajamouli of Hollywood,” he said.

Well, looking at the kind of pre-release records, Baahubali 2 created we have to agree with Senthil Kumar’s statement.

The trailer of Baahubali 2 had already emerged the first Indian film trailer to cross 100 million views on YouTube. Baahubali 2 is slated to hit the screens on 28 April 2017.
