Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor starrer OK Jaanu hit the theatre today and it seems that ‘shuddh sweet romance’ can never go out of vogue in India. The Twitterati have already given OK Jaanu, which is an official remake of Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ok Kadhal Kanmani‘, a thumbs up and going by the appreciation it has garnered so far, we remain deeply optimistic about the movie.
Plot: Directed by Shaad Ali, OK Jaanu revolves around Adi (Aditya Roy Kapoor), who is a game designer from Lucknow and wants to settle in the US, and Tara, who is working at an architecture firm and wants to pursue higher education in Paris. The duo who meet at a friend’s wedding and are set apart by their careers. How their careers force them apart and their love unites them is the story all about.
Performance: Twitterati believes that all the actors have done a splendid job. Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha have managed to spin their Aashiqui 2 magic on the silver screen yet again. While Aditya has been consistent with his performance so far, Shraddha remains unpredictable delivering occasional flops along with blockbuster movies like ABCD 2, Baaghi and Haider. Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah and Leela Samson are equally graceful.
Music: When you have Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman giving the background score, nothing can go wrong. The movie is full of songs that will make you hum along to its tunes.
