No stopping ADHM: Rajnath Singh assures support to Karan Johar

Hope it's a good news for us

Film director Karan Johar, Film & Television Producers Guild of India president Mukesh Bhatt and others met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday. Home Minister assured full support for the peaceful release of Karan Johar’s controversial film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The film was in news since long now for featuring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. A few weeks back, the MNS had threatened to stall the release of ADHM as it has a Pakistani artist Fawad Khan.

After meeting the Union Home Minister, Bhatt said, “Rajnath ji said he will speak to CM of every state and that the movie will release without any violence or issue.” He further added that HM Rajnath Singh has assured him of 100 per cent support. Also, “Rajnath Singh ji will convey to CM to maintain law and order,” said Bhatt.

“MNS workers are just trying to create fear in others mind, they don’t have any right to play with law & order,” said Babul Supriyo after meeting HM. He further said, “From now on Indian film makers will not be working with Paki artists, but these movies were made when situations were normal.”

While addressing the media before meeting, Mukesh Bhatt said he is expecting that government will understand and provide full security. He further said that if anybody is not interested in watching the film, they are free to do that but don’t stop others. Later, Union Minister Babul Supriyo too came out in support of Karan Johar, he addressed MNS as a party of goons and said they should not have the right to create the ruckus.

Earlier, Bhatt released a statement: “I have appealed with folded hands to my brothers in MNS. I know they are upset and so am I but let’s do it peacefully. Let’s not spoil Diwali of the people of our country. We are harming a fellow Indian. Pakistani ka kya gaya isme? Kuch nahi gaya. Woh Toh mazze le raha hai. Hass raha hai. So let Pakistanis not feel victorious. We brothers should come together and it’s the festival of us Hindus. Why to destroy our festivals? This is my appeal to all my MNS brothers. Let’s be together and make Diwali good for all Indians.”

Also, Johar released a video saying he will not engage with talent from Pakistan in future. Hopefully, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will be screened from Diwali weekend.
