Mom Trailer 2: Is Sridevi's comeback film a modified version of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Jazbaa? Watch Video

Sridevi is essaying the role of a tough mother Devki in her comeback film Mom. She shares the screen space with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna in the Ravi Udyawar directorial

Sridevi will be making her cinematic comeback with Ravi Udyawar’s Mom. She will be playing Devki, a mother to two daughters in the film. The first trailer was released a few days ago and generated a lot of buzz. Now, the makers have unveiled the second promo and the veteran actress nails it with her performance.

Mom is Sridevi’s 300th film and it is clear that she has put her soul into making this outing a memorable one. She shares the screen space with Adnan Siddiqui, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna. However, the second trailer does remind you of 2015 thriller Jazbaa that had Aishwarya Rai Bachchan making a comeback. In that film, Aishwarya played the role of a lawyer who was forced to defend a rape and murder accused to rescue her kidnapped daughter.

Talking about Nawazuddin, the 43-year-old actor never fails to impress with his performance on the silver-screen. He essays the role of a semi-bald man named DK who apparently is Devki’s well-wisher. Nawazuddin has worked hard on the different accent he put in the movie, and his efforts have paid off. Another actor to watch out for in the movie is Akshaye Khanna, who is essaying a negative role. Meanwhile, watch the first trailer of the movie.
