It won’t be wrong to say that Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana’s upcoming film Meri Pyaari Bindu is going to be one of the biggest hits of this year. Firstly, because the film marks the debut of PeeCee Junior as a singer and secondly owing to Parineeti-Ayushmann’s sizzling chemistry.
While Parineeti’s debut song Mana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin made all of us her fan, the teaser of Meri Pyaari Bindu was highly appreciated not only by the audience but the film fraternity as well. After releasing the teaser, the makers decided to divide the trailer into five chapters and revealed Chapter 1 on Monday.
Titled Samosa Aur Chutney, the first chapter saw Ayushmann and Parineeti in their childhood days and gave a sneak-peek of how the love story of Abhi and Bindu started. Now the makers have released the second chapter of the trailer, which has increased our curiosity about the film even more.
Titled Gabbar Aur Sambha, the 2-minute long video shows Bindu and Abhi as college students, where Bindu is the miscreant while Abhi is the innocent one and follows her lead. Ayushmann Khurrana shared the second chapter on Twitter with the perfect caption to define this video, which reads: Woh Gabbar, main Sambha. Woh Munna, main Circuit. Woh guruji, main Bhola!
Helmed by Akshay Roy and produced by Maneesh Sharma, Meri Pyaari Bindu is a beautiful love story of an aspiring singer played by Parineeti. You will be surprised to know that Parineeti will lend her voice to other songs of the film as well. It looks like, she has complete gone into the skin of her character of an aspiring singer.
Well, after watching the videos, one thing is for sure that this film will surely redefine the old-school romance. Meri Pyaari Bindu is slated to hit the screens on May 12 this year.
