Watch: What's so interesting about Navarasam that Kamal Haasan and AR Rahman are praising this music video

Within no time, Navarasam had gone viral on social media networks including Facebook and Twitter. Directed by Littil Swayamp, it contains 9 songs

The title song from popular Kerala-based music-band, Thaikkudam Bridge’s recent album, Navarasam is out. The song, a classic rock number sung by Vipin Lal and written by Dhanya Suresh is a tribute to Kathakali, one of the major forms of classical dance in India. Titled as Navarasam, the song talks about the commercialization of the popular art form of Kerala.

Everything you can imagine is real. When you perform Kathakali, the body syncs entirety to the art. The Navarasas claim dignity and then follows the fascination to the characters. To the maestros who mesmerised us as who they never were, we dedicate “NAVARASAM “, the Thaikkudam Bridge music band posted on their official Facebook page while sharing the video.

The album contains nine songs and is directed by Littil Swayamp. It marks the debut of a number of fresh faces – including Prayag, Kalamandalam Neeraj, Kalamandalam Nimisha Neeraj, Pranav, Adityan, Nilansha Malur, Kalamandalam Pradeep and Mallika Pradeep Kumar. Within no time, Navarasam had gone viral on social media networks including Facebook and Twitter.
