Queen of Pop Madonna really has no boundaries. Recently, the 58-year-old popstar had opened for Amy Schumer at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Tuesday. Madonna laid out a shocking proposition to the crowd. She offered fellatio to anyone who votes for Hillary Clinton for the US Presidential Elections. Okay, we know you’re totally hot, Madonna, but that is not the way to get more votes. Especially when Republican Presidential nominee and Clinton’s rival Donald Trump is getting bashed for his obnoxious, sexist remarks.
“One more thing before I introduce this genius of comedy. If you vote for Hillary Clinton, I will give you a blowjob… and I am good,” she said jokingly. Um… #NSFW much? Does she not know that political campaigns can be really sensitive? Recently, Trump has been under the sexist lens after his 2005 interview with Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush sparked a controversy. In the video, Trump was heard making lewd sexist comments about women, showing utter disregard towards the concept of consent.

At first, fans laughed and went along with the joke, cheering her on as she went on to say, “I am not a douche, and I am not a tool. I take my time, I make lots of eye contact and I do swallow.” Many took to Twitter to praise Madonna’s sense of humour but some others objected to her statement which seemed regressive and hypocritical. One user tweeted, “madonna imagine she was offering this for trump voters, the media would, go crazy, look what kind of voters he attracts he’s disgusting smh.” Another said, “Everything that is wrong with the sad state of America..#Madonna.”
This is not the first time Madonna has made a controversial statement to “show support” for a Democrat presidential nominee. Back in 2012, while supporting Barack Obama’s reelection, she asked people to vote for a “black Muslim”, adding a swear word or two to her statement. She was bashed for her statements then, and the same is being done to her now.
