Madhoo Shah to star in Rani Mukherji's brother's short film

The film starring Madhoo Shah is titled as 'Sab Theek Hai' and be will be directed by Rani Mukherji's brother Raja Mukherji

Who can forget the simple and innocent girl from the 1992 critically acclaimed musical romantic thriller Roja. The lead actress Madhoo Shah’s portrayal of the titular role in the film has had a lasting impact on people. She is constantly acting in the films and is one of the most prominent actresses in the South Indian film industry. However, her subtle and impactful acting in the film Roja is considered as one of her best performances till date.

According to sources, the Roja star will now be seen in a short film which will be directed by Rani Mukherji’s brother Raja Mukherji. The film is titled as ‘Sab Theek Hain’. Apart from this movie Raja Mukherji has only one other film in his kitty that was directed by him.

The story of the film is apparently about progressive women and is centered around a mother and her daughter. Madhoo and Waqr Shaikh are reported to be starring the movie. While the role of the daughter will be played by Madhoo, Deshpande will portray the role of her mother. The film will convey the message of sacrifice and patience and is aimed at spreading a message that if you push a woman beyond her limits, she roars.

We all now hope that after delivering power-pact performances in the films like Mani Ratnam’s Roja, Sangeeth Sivan’s Yodha, and Shankar’s Gentleman, Madhoo will not let her benchmark down and will do justice to the role she will portray.
