With Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s upcoming film Jagga Jasoos in its promotional stage, director Anurag Basu is making sure that everything goes as per the plans. The two will be seen almost after the gap of 6 years in the film and interestingly, fans are excited to see Ranbir and Katrina together once again post their break-up.
The trailer of the film was released in December last year and the whole 2-minute video was without any dialogues, giving a feel of jungle safari. The story of Jagga Jasoos is based on Ranbir’s journey and his will to find his missing father. Soon he meets Katrina and they both embark upon the adventurous journey.
The film earlier got delayed by six months because of the actors’ personal differences and Anurag Basu has come up with a clever promotional activity plan to further reduce the risk of any problems.
In an interview with DNA, a source close to the film revealed that Katrina and Ranbir will not be traveling together to promote the film. He said:
Katrina is a professional and will do whatever is expected of her to promote the film, even if it means standing and smiling next to RK. But she might not have to, as director Anurag Basu has come up with some clever, innovative marketing moves, based around the plot. While the two stars may come together for a few promotional spots, Basu’s strategies will make sure that they don’t need to travel together for the city tours. Now there is so much animosity between the lead actors that both have expressed their reservations about promoting it jointly so they may just get their wish.
