She is a former Miss World, a National Award-winning actress, a leading cast on an American thriller series and of late, has made it to the TIME magazine. So, the cliched question everyone might have on their minds to ask Priyanka Chopra is, when are you getting hitched?
But you will be surprised to know what the 34-year-old actor’s mom thinks about the idea of her daughter settling down. “I did. I used to. But Priyanka convinced me that she is in a very happy place and asked if I wanted to upset that. I said no,” Madhu Chopra, PeeCee’s mother, told Rediff in an interview. Chopra Sr said she was no longer worried about her doting daughter’s future.

Chopra also spoke to the website on her relationship with Priyanka, who also won a Padma Shri, as well as balancing work and looking after the star daughter.
Priyanka’s father Dr Ashok Chopra passed away in 2o13 after suffering from cancer. In the interview to the website, Mrs Chopra recalled how Pee Cee stood strong and focused on her work.

In the recent years, Priyanka’s career graph has risen since Quantico. She plays Alex Parrish, an FBI agent in the thriller series, which is into its second season. Besides this, she regularly appears on talk shows in the West and has gained immense popularity among the masses there.

She will also feature in Hollywood flick Baywatch, based on the television series of the same name, scheduled to hit the theaters next year. Priyanka plays antagonist Victoria Leeds and will share screen space with Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson and Zac Efron.
