We are just month and a half away from the release of Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again and the team has managed to keep everything around the film under wraps. As the countdown for the film release has begun, a little birdy informs us that the much-anticipated film is unlike any of the films from the comic Franchise.
A source close to the development revealed,
“Golmaal Again is a horror comedy. Rohit Shetty wanted to surprise the audience with the content and make the film completely different from other films of the franchise.”
Apart from Bhool Bhulaiya, Go Goa Gone and Great Grand Masti, Bollywood hasn’t quite tapped upon this space, and if Golmaal Again strikes gold at the Box Office, we might get to see a lot of film-makers taking up this genre.

The theatrical trailer of Golmaal Again is expected to be out within the next 10 days and sources reveal that the marketing team of the film has planned a grand event in Mumbai. The theatrical trailer will be launched in presence of entire cast and crew of the film consisting of Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Tabu, Kunal Khemu, Prakash Raj and Rohit Shetty.
Unlike most films which opt for a 2-month promotional window, team Golmaal Again has a tight campaign of merely 30 to 35 days. Just a few days after the trailer, the team would launch the grand title song of the film, which is said to be the costliest song for a Rohit Shetty film.
The Rohit Shetty directorial is the big ticket entertainer this Diwali and the trade pundits are expecting the film to set the Box Office on fire upon its release. Golmaal Again is the fourth installment of the successful Golmaal Franchise after Golmaal (2006), Golmaal Returns (2008) and Golmaal 3 (2010).
