Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice topped the nominations list for the 37th Golden Raspberry Awards and it’s not something DC fans should be happy about. You see, the Golden Raspberry Awards or the Razzie Awards acknowledge the worst in the film. Batman V Superman, which was the debut for Ben Affleck as Batman, was honestly one of the worst things ever and we’re glad that it received not one or two but a total of eight nominations!
Batman V Superman was perhaps the worst films based in the DCU in recent times, at par with Suicide Squad. Honestly, the only highlight in the film was Gal Gadot’s debut as Wonder Woman. I don’t know what sort of magic Zack Snyder used but even a remarkable actress like Amy Adams essentially sucked in the shoes of Lois Lane.
The film was nominated in the Worst Picture, Worst Screenplay, and Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-off or Sequel categories. While Snyder earned a place among the Worst Director category, Jesse Eisenberg was nominated for Worst Supporting Actor. Both Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill were nominated for Worst Screen Combo besides each earning a Worst Actor nomination for the Razzie Awards.
