Watch: Alicia Keys totally wrecked this Adele impression on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show

On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, singer Alicia Keys did a perfect impression of Adele's Hello er... The Alphabet Song

American singer Alicia Keys recently made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The 36-year-old singer participated in a little segment known as the ‘Wheel of Musical Impressions’ and it is exactly what you think it is- you get to do impressions of famous musicians.

The little game started with Keys herself, channeling Gwen Stefani as she flawlessly sung Miss Mary Mack. The crowd then turned to Fallon who got slapped the “State Farm” jingle with the impression of The Pointer Sisters. Poor Fallon. Needless to say that he did not really do a very good job.

Finally, when the screen read “Adele”, the crowd cheered. Alicia Keys had a completely different expression on her face. She was noticeably nervous but then, when she started to sing, she left us speechless. She got handed The Alphabet Song which she sang to the tune of Adele’s Hello. The moment she started to sing, Fallon’s face said it all. He had accepted his defeat. She upped her game even further when she did a Janis Joplin impression with ‘Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star’.

After her she successfully managed to channel her inner Adele, fans have been dying for a live duet between the two singers. Fallon suggested it on the show himself and it has been all fans can talk about ever since.

Adele

To be honest, this impression must have left Adele more elated than us ’cause, in case you are not aware of it, the two singers also have a little history between them. No, they were never singing partners or anything but, Adele grew up listening to Alicia Keys, thanks to her mother. Keys was one of her biggest influences and she is also the reason why Adele is where she is today. Isn’t that exciting? Adele is yet to react to this.
