Here's what Game of Thrones season 7 episode titles reveal about the realm's future

Game of Thrones season 7 episode titles and synopses for the first three episodes reveal a lot about the upcoming season, premiering on June 16, 2017.

Game of Thrones season 7 is merely a week away but, show makers David Benioff and D. B. Weiss have kept us waiting for too long. As the premiere date draws closer, the crippling anticipation piles. Thankfully, after the release of the trailer some time ago, there have been new advancements in the realm. The episode titles and the synopsis for the first three episodes of Game of Thrones season 7 were released recently and they reveal a lot more details about the upcoming season than we would have expected.

Titled “Dragonstone,” the first episode will premiere on July 16 and as one could perceive from the title, we will see Daenerys “come home” finally after all those years. The Mother of Dragons will step foot in Dragonstone, the place where she was born, in this episode. Additionally, while Cersei tries to “even the odds” (join hands with Euron Greyjoy?) Jon Snow will be beefing up defenses in the North after securing the victory of Winterfell in Battle of the Bastards.

The second episode (airs July 23) has been titled “Stormborn,” another reference to Daenerys Targaryen. Dany will receive and “unexpected visitor” in this episode. In previously released stills of season 7, we saw that Jon Snow and Dany were meeting someplace down south. Could Jon, her secret nephew, be the one to pay the new claimant of the Iron Throne a visit? If that so, then Jon will be keeping a bit busy this episode as he will also be the one to “face a revolt.” Perhaps it could be hinting at an uproar after a Bastard took the seat in the North. All this will be going down as “Tyrion plans the conquest of Westeros.”

“The Queen’s Justice,” will be arriving on July 30 and will be centred on both the challenging Queens in the game of thrones. In this episode, Cersei will “return a gift” which obviously means we’re talking about something unspeakably horrifying. Could it be that the gift is “death.” If so, then it could be her getting back at Ellaria Sand for killing Myrcella since Cersei hasn’t settled that game yet. On the other hand, her brother Jamie will come to “learn from his mistakes.” We really hope the mistake is allowing his evil twin to breathe so he can remedy that already. Also, Daenerys will be “holding court” (whatever that means).

If any of these things is about to go as we’re thinking, Game of Thrones season 7 is undoubtedly about to be the best, most explosive season yet. Can’t wait, right?
