Has Prabhas really hiked his fees post the success of S S Rajamouli's 'Baahubali 2'?

With the success of S S Rajamouli's magnum opus, it seems Southern star Prabhas too has benefitted from the film. Here's how

It seems Prabhas, who dedicated five years of his hard work to S S Rajamouli’s successful Baahubali franchise is now finally getting his due. After beating celebs like Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, he has become the first South Indian star to get his wax statue at Madame Tussauds. Now, the buzz is that this Rebel star has hiked his fees, courtesy the success of Baahubali 2. Released on April 28, the film has taken the Box office by storm as it garnered Rs 1000 crore worldwide at the box office.

According to a leading entertainment portal, Prabhas has hiked his fee by Rs 5 crores. Considering the fact that he has given five years to the film, it is fair enough to demand the remuneration but has he really? Rumours have it that the actor has drawn a package of Rs 20-25 crore for his films but post the blockbuster hit Baahubali, now he will be demanding about Rs 30 crore. Though nothing has been officially announced yet, we can’t confirm anything about the same.

Reported by the portal, it is being said that Prabhas is the highest paid actor and has left behind his co-stars including Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty.
