This new detail about his health was revealed through a medical bulletin. Vinod Khanna was admitted to the hospital a few days ago due to severe dehydration. After reports of his ill-health emerged, his son told media that he was doing well.

Now, this new piece of information will undoubtedly bring a smile to fans of the ailing star.

Vinod Khanna’s health concerns grew when a picture of him from the hospital went viral. The picture showed a feeble and weak Vinod hugging his loved ones. Wearing hospital clothes, Vinod Khanna’s picture made way for rumours that maybe he is suffering from cancer.

After this, many Bollywood celebs expressed concern for Vinod’s health. Irrfan Khan said during a media interaction that he was shocked to know about the condition of the yesteryear star. Irrfan added he would donate organs to Vinod Khanna if need be.

Apart from Irrfan, legendary singers and sisters Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle too hoped for a speedy recovery of the actor. Asha Bhosle, who has worked with Khanna in movies like Aan Milo Sajna, Mera Gaon Mera Desh and Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki, told IANS:

It’s a very unfortunate thing that he is not feeling well. I pray to God that he recovers very fast. He was a very handsome guy… It’s sad to know he is not keeping well.

Lata Mangeshkar tweeted, “My prayers and good wishes are with Shri Vinod Khanna for a speedy recovery. One of the finest artists of our industry.”

A sitting BJP MP from Gurdaspur, Punjab, Vinod Khanna has been at the Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai since 31 March.
