Force 2 trailer: Time to celebrate rusty John Abraham and fierce Sonakshi Sinha

Force 2 trailer is out and it seems like a good action entertainer

The trailer of John Abraham-Sonakshi Sinha starrer — Force 2 is out. Directed by Abhinav Deo of Delhi Belly fame, the film, as expected, looks like a complete action entertainer. Stuffed with quintessential Hindi film heavy dialogues, the trailer also gives away the entire story line.

Sonakshi as KK —  a RAW agent and John as Kabir — a cop, team up to protect the other RAW agents in the country from a man who’s on a mission to kill them. The man in question is the cold-blooded villain from Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani — Tahir Raj Bhasin.

The three-minute five-second video has John Abraham doing some blatantly rusty action scenes. And Sonakshi Sinha proving that she’s no less than any ‘male’ cop. In fact, her introductory scene in the trailer has her uttering a few powerful dialogues as she excels in some fierce combat scenes alongside John.

Force 2, however, seems like an out and out John Abraham film. The story of the film, based on RAW agents, is a winning plot-line considering various filmmakers have cashed on it from time and again. Ek The Tiger, Agent Vinod, Phantom, and D-Day, among others have carried the similar components in its storyline and remained successful in garnering audiences’ eyeballs.

The music of the film seems dark and gloomy which is a different move considering how most of the Bollywood action entertainers like to keep it peppy and bumpy. While there’s no glimpse of Maya aka Genelia D’Souza in the trailer, her sheer presence lies in one of John’s dialogues:

5 saal pehle meri biwi mar gayi thi… tab se main satak gaya hun (It’s been five years since my wife passed away and since then, I’ve become absurd.)

As reported by the makers earlier though, Genelia will be seen giving a special appearance in the film.

Force 2, produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, JA entertainment Pvt. Ltd. And Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, is slated for release on 18 November. Force was released in 2011 and was received well by the audiences. The film is still John’s biggest Box Office hit as a solo lead.
